Polestar Pilates is a world renowned and highly respected training programme, recognised in 40 countries and backed by the National Pilates Certification Programme (NPCP).  Polestar training applies current research and practice in orthopaedics, sports medicine and movement science to the principles originated by Joseph Pilates. The comprehensive course takes at least a year and incorporates a minimum of 500 hours of learning (class room based, assessments, self practice, observation and teaching) and a rigorous multi-discipline examination process. The comprehensive qualification enables instructors to teach on the suite of Pilates apparatus as well as the mat.

The National Pilates Certification Programme was established to promote and maintain professional standards of Pilates teaching and has the ability to award the title of Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) to comprehensively trained Pilates instructors who demonstrate that they meet required professional standards.  It is a third-party certification, independent of a specific training program or Pilates school, which assures the public that the NCPT has met the established competencies for the provision of services.

Level 3 Award in Pre and Post Natal Training is a recognised qualification for specialist instructors who can address the needs of pre and post natal clients. It provides the knowledge and skills needed to be able to programme safe and effective exercise, taking into account the physiological and biomechanical changes associated with pregnancy and the key health and safety considerations for pre and post natal clients taking part in physical activity.
