One-to-One Pilates Sessions

What to expect

  • The first session includes a movement screening to assess your habitual movement patterns as well as the creation of a staged long-term plan to get you moving more efficiently.

  • We will discuss your goals - private sessions are the most effective way for you to achieve your personal goals as the sessions are tailored to you.

  • I will ensure you are performing the exercises correctly and getting the most out of your hour, and we will work at your pace.

  • You have my undivided attention and can ask as many questions as you like.

  • Homework! I will give you exercises on the mat to practice at home to help with your progression. You decide how often you think is realistic for home practice, but the more you practice the quicker your goals will be achieved.

 

Pilates on the apparatus

  • The apparatus provides assistance and / or resistance to the Pilates exercises which complements both rehabilitation and athletic training.

  • Pilates on the apparatus is suitable for (almost) everyone as the exercises are adapted to you and your needs.

  • Apparatus available at the studio:

    • Reformer

    • Tower

    • Exo Chair

    • Arc/ Spine Corrector

    • Mat

    • Other small equipment (such as weights, balls, balance beam, barre, blocks and rollers)
